I have met the girl of my dreams,
She sits opposite me in my class,
She has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen,
Like the brightest of a church’s stained glass.
Her hair always shimmers so enchanting in the light,
Like clear water rippling in the sun,
And her gorgeous red lips fill me with so much delight,
Because the girl of my dreams has come!
She is kind, funny, charming I’m sure!
A woman of so much appeal,
That she often makes me pinch myself ‘til I’m sore,
So I can remind myself that she is real.
I cannot believe that life has seen fit,
To bless me with such a chance,
As to offer me this beauty; this angel as a gift,
So we can enjoy the pleasures of romance.
So carpe diem! I’ll make her my own,
All my worldly desires will come true,
And I will throw my caution to the winds that have blown,
If it means spending my lifetime with you.
